Eastern Sierra UMC Churches
The three United Methodist Churches of the Eastern Sierra operate as a shared ministry cooperative. While the message and pastoral leadership is consistent across the worship services, each service is tailored to the unique history and heritage of each congregation.

Bishop First United Methodist Church
Chartered 1871, Sanctuary Dedicated 1908
The Bishop Church is the oldest church still in use in Bishop, CA. Few changes have been made inside and out, thus preserving its original colonial revival design including 19 stained glass windows, the original tin ceiling, and woodwork fashioned from local lumber.

Worship style is "relaxed traditional" with hymns, choir, and some praise music
Big Pine Community United Methodist Church
Chartered 1871, Sanctuary Dedicated 1886
Referred to simply as "The Church" in Big Pine, worship here is casual and participatory. Music is a mix of hymns and contemporary.
Pioneer Memorial Church, Independence

The oldest church on the Camino Sierra, Pioneer Memorial serves the county seat of Independence. Worship here is casual and and participatory. Music is a mix of hymns and contemporary.
